WHAT IS THE ST. MICHAEL’S HIGH SCHOOL FOUNDATION?
The Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2017. In 2019 the Foundation obtained charitable status with Revenue Canada allowing us to issue tax receipts to donors for gifts over $20.
WHAT ARE ITS OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES?
The Foundation aims to promote the education of St. Michael’s High School students by providing sports equipment and educational materials for school activities as well as covering the costs of transportation of students for school and after-school activities (for example school cultural outings and travel to sports tournaments).
The Foundation also works to promote the health of students by organizing physical activities aimed at promoting an awareness of the benefits of physical fitness. The Foundation aims to organize an annual fundraising sports event such as a cross-country race or triathlon.
WHO ARE THE FOUNDATION MEMBERS?
The Foundation is made up of a small group of dedicated parents and community members who work closely with the school’s Governing Board and the Principal as well as the Home and School Association.
WHY DONATE TO THE FOUNDATION?
The Foundation aims to help the school achieve excellence through providing students the opportunity to be the best that they can be, each in their own individual way. By donating you will be helping the school community to achieve these goals.
HOW DO I DONATE?
a) Etransfer (will require a completed Donation Form to be sent to administration@saintmichaels.foundation)
b) Cash or cheque: please print form (found above) and drop off at the school or mail to St. Michael’s High School Foundation c/o 26 ch. Principal, Low, QC, J0X 2C0
